I call myself a lifestyle photographer which is a broad term for the sorts of subjects I've also been drawn to - people, travel and food
I've been very lucky to have been able to travel to many places as part of my work. Below are a few images from some of my assignements.
This section of the website is a little different. I decided to put two similar related photographs together to create more of a story.
About ten years ago I was assigned by Food & Travel magazine to go to Italy for an assignment. Before then I'd always done a lot of travel photography but not much food work but was hooked when I came back from their with so many lovely images of food.
I've always been drawn to portraits of people. Unconsciously is the one area of photography I always gravitate towards. I'm a fairly shy person so it takes a lot for me to go up to a complete stranger and ask to take their photograph but its always worth the effort. And its the one area of my portfolio that I get the most comments.
